How do you guys stop questioning your career choice when you’re having trouble finding work?

I graduated from UCLA film school in May 2020 at the height of the pandemic, so me and basically all my classmates and friends I’ve known from past internships have barely found any work at all in the entertainment industry. I worked 5 great internships and my resume looks great, but this has me questioning my entire professional worth.

I keep telling myself “this wasn’t supposed to happen to me” and “if only I was smart and majored in computer science, this wouldn’t be happening”. Right now, it’s hard to even remember the good times I had working and the times I spent on the Sony Pictures lot, knowing for sure I made the right decision. It feels like none of that even matters and all I can think is that I made a stupid choice.

It’s easy to feel confident when things are good. But how do you stay confident in your choices when things are going bad?
