So as of Monday I'm moving to a different department in the warehouse. I work at a car parts distribution center. I was originally in the outbound department picking and palletizing orders. Batteries, rotors, oil filters etc. It took a toll on me physically cuz the batteries can be pretty heavy. Plus they expect the orders to be done at a certain pace. But in receiving I simply put the stock away in racks. No rush. No quota. Just simple stocking.
There's also a pay raise coming next month plus with receiving department I can get lots of overtime. Up to 26 hours in fact! I'm super excited because now I can save money for my family and I to have our own property. Plus with my fiance going to study up for her dental hygienist license, we have potential for something. Just had to let this all out. Good luck to everyone in their goals!
