I am 21 living with my parents. I had a very good job before covid hit but got retrenched because of the businesses loosing money. Me and my girlfriend of almost 3 years now are trying to get out of this county to build a better future for ourselves. She is a teacher and doing very well for herself, but she wants to become a linguist. Me on the other hand is struggling to find work with my qualifications. I studied animation, visual effects and film arts for a year when I decided to go and work. Before I went to college I did online studying for 5 years learning how to graphic design and work with a wide rang of programs. After I lost my job I tried using freelance platforms to get work, but It does not seem to be working for me, I have done a lot of freelance jobs but they are local and for friends. I was wondering if someone can give me a little advice to getting more gigs or a stable income. I am really working towards getting me and my girlfriend a brighter future.
