Hi all,
Looking to get some opinions on this, I am up for an interview at my top choice dream job in public health and am looking for ways I can best prepare and increase my chances of hopefully getting an offer. I was doing research on the company's Linkedin page and saw the profile of an employee at the company who previously held the position I am currently interviewing for. Is it appropriate to connect/message the employee and discuss how they like or disliked the position? Could I maybe ask what was the interview process like or just ask about the job only? I am worried if I were to do this that it would be overstepping or if they were to talk to the hiring manager, maybe it would decrease my odds? What do you guys think?
Additionally, any tips or tricks you might have to ace the interview and have worked for you would be greatly appreciated!
