Not sure if this is the right place to post but I finally got a job after months of searching and a ton of rejections! They did a background check and I have a clean record except something came up stating that I have an alternate name. I've only ever gone by my legal name... The name that popped up during the background was essentially my name but spelled wrong (Ex. Lizzie versus Lizzy). Should I be worried about my offer being rescinded? Or anything worse like identity theft?
