Looking to start a new career at age 30 with decent (I'm realistic) earning potential to support a family, and willing to take any kind of classes or learn a trade to do so. Where do I start?!

As stated above, I turned thirty this year and without going into too much detail, I just found out that my plans for career advancement have been completely destroyed by COVID. I still have a job but it is now 100% dead-end, and while it pays the bills just fine for the moment that will not be the case once my wife and I have a child.

I am looking to start fresh in a new field that has decent earning potential. I am not looking to go back to college, but I am definitely willing to take classes or learn a trade, especially if it is through some sort of apprenticeship program where you get paid a stipend (although this isn't a necessity for the moment).

I know there are about a million different options I could pursue and just doing a google search it's a bit overwhelming. Naturally, being a redditor I thought I would see what you lovely people thought about it. Thanks in advance for all of the suggestions!
