Hi guys, I was accepted two corporate retail jobs at the end of August and Ive been working at a job A for two weeks and am going to an orientation Sunday for a job B. I accepted job A because it started earlier than job B and I wanted to see how much I like it. However, after debating back and forth on which one to choose I decided that job B would be best for me.
How do I go about quitting?
I know that there is this whole two weeks notice thing but not only do I not have two weeks, but I would feel uncomfortable with them knowing I was dipping out and not really giving a damn about their store while still working for them. I still haven’t even felt comfortable at job A yet and I feel like some of my coworkers don’t like me very much. How bad should I feel telling them on the day of that I’m quitting? Have any of you quit a retail job after a few weeks and how did that go? I’m feeling pretty anxious because I’ve never just straight up quit on anything and that’s kind of what I want to do in this situation.
