I'm in the process of improving my ability to market myself to future job prospects. I have a pretty unique name and the results when you Google my name are only for me. I've been closing accounts I don't want to show up, but some that I do want to show up aren't there.
Specifically my Twitter account. It's my only public social media and I've tailored it to show my philosophy related to this specific field of work. I'd like that to show up prominently, but currently after the top 3, it's my Pinterest, Etsy, and a bunch of the WhitePages-type sites, which are mostly for my ex-husband's family, not me.
Can I affect these results? If so, how?
If this isn't the right sub, just let me know what one would be a better fit and I'll gladly delete and repost there.
