For a little bit more context: I absolutely hate the job I’m working at right now, since I’m being severely mistreated to a point it’s almost bullying. Anyways I applied around and one place got back to me- they brought me in for an interview and what not, got back in touch and said they would go ahead and offer a position. Of course I accepted, people there were MUCH more friendly and I’d be making over a dollar more and hour with some pretty great benefits. They made it sound as if I got the job, but they didn’t directly say “you’re hired” so I just don’t want to take it that way, and go ahead and quit my current job only to find out they changed their mind :/ they also mentioned doing a background check and getting me started with training (hence why I think it sounds like I am hired) but, like I said, I automatically assumed I had the job when the manager called but after thinking about it a couple days later, I hope I didn’t get caught up in myself too much when there are other applicants as well
