Resume/LinkedIn Advice (maybe recruiters/HR can answer this): do you need to set LinkedIn profile to public (searchable for non-LinkedIn users) if you want to include the url to your resume
I added my LinkedIn url to my resume, but it occurred to me that it's only accessible to LinkedIn users -- my profile is private. Instead non-LinkedIn folks will get a message saying that the account either is private or does not exist. Should I assume that recruiters and hiring managers already have a LinkedIn account so this wouldn't be a problem? Thanks for any feedback.
