Does anyone have any inspiring career change stories?

I graduated in 2019 with a degree in Information Systems and have worked 2 jobs in the field since graduating (left one due to COVID layoff). I pursued this degree because I thought it would offer stability and a fair compensation. Long story short, I am looking at making a significant career change to become a teacher but am getting discouraged by the commitment to making the transition as I already spent a lot of time and money on the initial degree.

Has anyone made any drastic career changes that they are happy about? Looking to hear some positive stories.
