I have been on the hunt for a job recently for the first time in a couple years. I haven’t been laid off but the location I was working at is kind of on a hiatus that I am not sure is ending (poor management, possible lack of employees, etc) so of course I need to be looking out for other things.
I have decided that I would like to take my skills out of state so I have applied for a few jobs within the same company. I applied for one position at the beginning of the month and I got an email about it and another job that would be opening soon last Tuesday but due to me being on the hunt for jobs, my inbox has been flooded with emails from all kinds of job hunting websites so it got lost within them. I noticed this email this Monday and responded immediately, first apologizing for my lateness and it is now Thursday and I haven’t heard anything back. I’m trying to keep positive thoughts but I am getting really nervous and I am not sure of what to do.
