Currently interviewing for my absolute dream job. Stuck in a shitty one right now, and there aren't any other jobs available - so really this is my one ticket out.
It's highly competitive though, and the hiring is taking forever. I've done three interviews in five weeks, and I think I've done really well (+ have had several people send them referrals). Now they've told me a heads up that the job is paused for a moment and they won't pick back up until the week after next. So now I'm sitting on my hands waiting two weeks from now to hopefully hear back.
It's SO hard to be patient. Especially when I don't like my current job. Don't get me wrong - I'm grateful I have my job (although I'd make more on unemployment if they laid me off...). I just want this other one so so badly. Anyone else going through this?
