My boss and I have agreed that I will work 44-48 hours a week (anything above 40 is overtime).
I worked the following
Monday 7AM-5PM 10 Hours
Tuesday 7AM-5PM 10 Hours
Wednesday PTO
Thursday PTO
Friday PTO
Because I worked 20 hours, I only used 20 hours OT to make my 40.
My boss emailed me saying she wanted me to use 24 hours of PTO because we agreed I would work 44 hours minimum.
I'm pretty upset because I don't need 4 extra hours of PTO because
1) I only physically worked 20 so anything above 40 won't be paid at on OT rate
2) Im wasting PTO if I have to put these extra hours
I tried explaining it to her in a call but she didn't understand so I plan on talking to the finance director tomorrow.
Any advice?
