New guy in the workforce, looking for work, advice needed

I'm in my early twenties, still, in college, no college degree yet finished high school.

The first real job I was given through connections my dad had within a company he worked at, so I didn't really have to do a lot of work to get it. Worked hard for a couple of years there and my boss said he would happily vouch for me to my next boss when I look somewhere else. One problem I encountered, outside of fast food websites, most job websites tend to be either scam websites that are only interested in getting your email and cell number so they can explode you with spam and scams. Another problem I encountered, most places that say they are beginner-friendly actually aren't and demand a degree or they basically throw your resume away.

Does anybody have any websites or fields of jobs they would recommend for a guy who is looking just to earn some money and get some cash? I am a hard-working dude, I just want to earn some money to help feed my family, I already got one job but it genuinely doesn't pay enough so I need a second one. I will probs just accept a fast-food job at this point or maybe go uber driving. But does anyone here have any other recommendations for a guy still in his early years in college who just wants to earn some cash legally to help out his family?

Honestly i'm getting pretty stressed out with this whole corona thing as it has put my father and long term girl friend out of work.
