I had a five person interview panel this last Thursday. I nailed both interviews with the hiring manager twice. I answered all his questions in ten minutes and he said well I have no more questions you had excellent questions. That lead to a 20 minute chit chat about personal and job related things. I had an interview with his boss who I really couldn’t read. I think I did great on three and good on two. If the hiring manager is the one making the choice and I really hit it off with her would it be weird for me to think her boss could say I don’t know about him and lose me the opportunity? I think that getting into a personal deep conversation with the hiring manager shows I would be good to work with right? I hate waiting!
