Hi, I’m 19 years old and am currently working on escaping from my abusive mother. I’ve been eyeing an Ad’ for Amazon customer service that pays at least $12/hr but two of the requirements for the job make me nervous(I have anxiety but still)—I must have fast internet and be able to take phone calls; I don’t know how fast our internet is since we live in a trailer park and I don’t have a real phone number per se due to my mom still having not paid the phone bill, so I’m using a TextNow number...
I may not be qualified for that online job and that scares me because I really want to escape from my mom and be able to support myself, I even made a GoFundMe but no one seems to be donating to that and I don’t have my license yet nor do I have a car to use even if I had one! I’m in an awful position and I think I could really use some advice about other online jobs out there that I could take.
Random info that might help: I have a passion for textile design and am teaching myself how to make patterns and will even be attending a quilting club to get hands on experience in designing quilts(I also have a Sewing/Knitting book and an old sewing machine) but obviously I don’t know what jobs I could take in that realm, especially in Selma,Alabama of all places.
