I moved from Spain to the United States two months ago.
I have always worked in ground handling for external companies and airlines. As my maximum studies are High School, I am looking for a job that has good benefits (vacation - pto, bonus, retirement plan) and is well paid.
After months of gathering information I have seen that ground handling companies do not pay much and their workers are unhappy in the United States. This is also the case in Spain.
In this case, what I am looking for is a job that can pay me the most, that has a good working environment, that is operational and has good benefits.
So, I started looking and I found that the best companies I could apply to are:
- Costco
- Trader Joe's
- Quiktrip
From what I've seen, the best hourly wage is at Costco. Quiktrip in terms of bonus, and Trader Joe's in terms of work environment.
However, I would like to have your opinion, and if anyone works or has worked at any of them better. My intention is to work in one of them indefinitely, as I don't have a university degree, nor trade skills, and I come from another country.
