Would you take the risky or safe job offer?

I am deciding between two job offers. They are both out of state. I currently am looking on savings.

The first offer is an in home therapy job which is what I do currently

Pros: pays well per hour ($25) during appointments and paid drive time ($14). Potential to make up to $2000 in bonuses if I work over 25 hours a week.

Cons: I will have to start part time and build up hours/ cases. No guarantee on how many hours I will start off with and how long it will take to build up. (Hopefully take up a second job to be safe until then)

I could drive anywhere from 20-50 miles a day (I currently drive around 30) not too important to me if I get plenty of hours.

Pro/con. Starts in April so I have more time to save up money to move. But I may go through it more quickly depending on how many hours I'll work.

Second offer. In clinic therapy

Pros: guaranteed 40 hours a week salaried (30,000)

I'll have coworkers to talk to (moving out of state I won't know anyone). Potential raises.

I potentially have a few different people I can be roommates with in this area.

Cons: only about $14/$15 an hour. Starts in March so I'll have less time to prepare for a move. Raises could be small and far.

I'm leaning towards the first job offer even though it's risky. I'm just looking for a second opinion. Thoughts?
