Over qualified for a position (years of exp, certs) and not hired because of "didn't get a feel for your personality". Any advice on what that means?

They asked up front to tell them about myself. I spent roughly 3-5 minutes briefly going over the highlights I guess of me. No other questions were about my personality, were all job or scenario based. I was told at the exit and in the feedback I gave a strong interview and was in the top 2. I've 8+ years experience and am currently still certified in multiple areas of the job. I was genuinely surprised to not get it, but also at the personality part. Any advice on what they meant, how to avoid that going forward into other interviews? Thanks in advance.
