do i need to tell my current boss if i’m getting a second job?

i’m not sure what i should put as a flair for this, but here’s the situation:

i’m a senior in highschool. i’m planning on moving out with a friend when i’m done and pursuing cinematography, filmmaking, photography, etc. (aka, not going to college right away) i love my current job (five below), but i don’t get enough hours, nor do i get paid too well. i get scheduled twice a week at most, (very rarely 3 days a week), and i get 11 an hour. these are like 4 hour shifts, meaning i work literally 8 hours a week. for 11 an hour. 88 dollars a week. that’s not enough. i just applied to a furniture store that pays 13.50, and i just got a call back from them saying they’re interested.

do i tell my manager what’s up? will i get fired? i’m pretty sure i never read anything about not having a second job in the handbook thing, so i don’t know why i would get fired.
