Hi,
I interviewed with my preferred company (Company A) on Friday, and they have known since the beginning of the process that I needed to move fast. I told them pretty openly that I wanted to be at Company A, and I had really great conversations with the team (they all said they would give me their recommendation to HM). At the end of the interview, the HM said they needed to interview other candidates as well and to give him at most 2 weeks.
Company B is planning on making an offer by Tuesday, and is by far my 2nd choice (maybe even 3rd). I know they won't give me 2 weeks of decision making (probably at MOST by end of week).
Should I use Company B's offer as leverage and be honest with Company A? The recruiter has been very open with me and on a texting basis...but I'm not sure how much leverage I have. What are your thoughts?
