In my last couple of interviews I have told them that my weakness was that I hadn't been putting in enough effort to develop stronger ties with my coworkers. I added in that it's something I've been working on and that I try now to strike up more conversations with people and attend more company events.
I'm starting to wonder if all they hear in this is that I don't naturally like to be close with my coworkers. Would I be better off giving a more generic, safe answer like everybody recommends?
