Should I keep waiting or should I keep applying to other jobs?

I am currently a high school senior. I’ve been applying to several part time jobs, and I finally got an interview last Thursday May 9. On Saturday May 11, I got a text saying that I was hired and to go into the store on Monday to give them my ID, social security card / passport, so I did. The manager wasn’t there, but there was another worker in charge of getting my stuff scanned, I would assume she is the assistant manager because her uniform was different from the regular crew member uniform.

During the evening, I got an email from the company’s employee portal to go and fill out the W-4 and I-9 forms. I completed this on Tuesday.

I’m starting to think that this was a mistake on my part, but the next day, I texted the same number that texted me that I was hired, telling them that I just wanted to let them know that I completed the forms and was looking forward to the next step.

To this day I still haven’t gotten an email or a text or anything,, so I don’t know if they changed their mind or anything.

What should I do? Should I go into the store and ask? Should I just keep waiting or look for another job? How long does the on-boarding process for a part time usually take? This is my first time looking for a job, so I don’t really know how to react.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
