Been trying for months with no luck, any advice for a recent grad?

I graduated in December with a degree in communication, focusing on content creation. I have sent out hundreds of applications through indeed, LinkedIn, company sites and more since late August with no luck.

Any response I get is more on a technical side towards engineering.( I have years of robotics and such which relates to my media experience running a brand and design) this has lead to emails about jobs like 3D printing which I am then not qualified for and may lead to me being over looks for media and graphic jobs.

Any advice on how to improve and how to find something. I have looked across LI and NYC for large and small places.
