Working in a chaotic company, doing almost nothing all day and about to get fired

As one could imagine by reading the title, I'm in a really shitty situation. I had been unemployed for over a year after graduating, until a couple months ago I received a job offer from a very suspicious company. I went to read the reviews on the internet posted by past workers and dear lord, I have never seen such a low rated company. All the coments were saying how miserable was to work in there. I thought it couldn't be that bad, at least I would gather some experience in my first full time job. So I took the job. I was awfully mistaken.

In the first few weeks I realized why they had such reviews. I couldn't believe how disorganized the company was. Inever thought such a business could exist. Basically there is no strategy at all, things are done according to whatever the owner says. Projects are poorely managed, there are no schedules nor deadlines, things are randomly done according to necessity. Internal comunication is a mess, decisions are taken verbally without much formalization. It's every man for himself. Turnover is also another problem. I have seen tons of people getting fired and hired in the short period I'm in there

Like I said projects have no schedules nor deadlines. So basically I don't have any "official" tasks and never know what I'm supposed to be doing. Soon I realized that I had to keep asking my superiors what I should do next. I do something, then I have to ask for more stuff, otherwise I will be there doing nothing all day, looking lazy. I must say that all the tasks I get are menial tasks that could be done by anyone. Also, I don't have to say that this is completely inefficient because people are not always available to tell me what I should do and I can't figure out myself because there are so many things going on at the same time and they all need to be approved by different people. It's a mess. I never experienced such thing before. I never had to ask my past bosses "so, what the heck do I do now?".

Among all this mess I tend to end up having a lot of spare time, although I keep asking my superiors if they need help with something. In the last few days, for example, I did almost nothing all day. I was already feeling they would fire me for not having enough stuff to be done. I thought it wasn't me, maybe they realized that I wasn't as necessary as they imagined. Honestly, if the company was more organized a lot of people wouldn't be necessary in there, including myself.

However, as it couldn't get any worse, I found out the company has opened a position exactly just like mine with the same description and everything. In other words, I'm about to get fired without having any idea of what's going on this hell on earth. I haven't received any feedback so far and there are no team meetings, so it's really hard to have an opportunity to talk about my performance. Plus I don't think my superiors care about it.

Not really looking for advices, just want to share my terrible experience so far, maybe there are some similar stories that people would like to share.
