How did you discover the job you love?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, still fairly new to reddit. So the title explains most of it. I'm a 23 year old with a 1 year old and husband in the military. I feel like by my age I should have something figured out. I keep bouncing between different careers. One of my concerns is I don't want to just have a job, I want to do something that I love. I've always been interested in medicine, as well as a love for animals. I have gone back and forth between nursing and sonography for a while. But I'm concerned with sonography becoming stagnant, and that I don't have the guts for nursing. If I had to name my dream job, I would love to be a zookeeper, but with my husband in the military, there's never a guarantee to be any work for me around, like where we are now, and with his job will probably stay, the closest zoo is 2 hours away. I know career counseling is a thing, does anyone have any experience on if it's worth it? Any recommendations on how to decide what I want to do? Thank you for any information!
