So I got 2 offers. The first one I just start a week and it’s somewhat of an office job, but management said with my background and skills they could see me do greater things in the company. They want to get me into the door first. Then the second offer comes in. It is pay about 20,000 more, but it is more of production worker and does not seem to offer much advancement and way more overtime than job 1. I really enjoy job 1 and the people I work with. I am not sure about the second offer though. Should I go for the money or stay with job 1? or should I talk to job 1 about my second offer hoping they would somewhat match it? Also my dad work in company 1 so if I quit only 2 weeks in, would that have any repercussion on his job? Sometimes I feel like all the people around me are making way more than I do so I really feel the pressure to make more money. Can you guys help me out?
