I was told the budget cuts got worse. Somehow this happened within 3 weeks, when before my leave I was told I'd have full time hours through June due to people being out/helping other stores/etc.
I was supposed to be sent a picture of the schedule but was texted my shifts for when I return. Honestly, I really want to see everybody's hours. Because I'm thinking I may need to call HR.
Regardless, I've begun job searching and can immediately start at a factory with full time set hours guaranteed. I've heard it pays the same as my current job. Would I be dumb to leave a retail position to go sand trash cans etc. all day? Or am I an idiot trying to stay somewhere with such fluctuating hours? I have other applications in but that's the quickest jump. Worried about my insurance though, unsure if I could afford COBRA.
