Need advice. I am currently interviewing for my dream job and I can’t believe it’s happening. I am currently in process and have had multiple interviews. During this process, I was let go from my current job. My last interview asked if I was there and I got really nervous and went on like I was.
I am very close to finishing the process but I feel like maybe I should come clean to them? I don’t usually lie, I just got scared and couldn’t spit it out. I would imagine this could backfire when they verify employment and it shows my end date was in the middle of this interview process. Any advice or feedback? It’s for a big corporate job.
