When Should I Draw The Line?

This is complicated.

I currently work for a company who does contract work for companies such as IBM, Apple, Intuit etc. I have worked here for 2 years and make $13/hr. The company operates in 26 different countries with more than 100k employees.

Heres my dilemma. As my title suggests, when should I draw the line at work with employee abuse? I don't mean physical or anything but just...sigh just keep reading.

I work in customer service and I work from home in a call center type model. My company has done some extremely, well, questionable decisions. They fired my friend for a single mistake and he won through arbitration. Then they "accidentally" fired my other friend. They also have deceived their employees about promotions and career advancement. They told us "You will be moved up in 6 months" and 2 years later I am still at the bottom. And on top of that, they lied about the job I applied for. I applied for a product support not sales!!

I cant argue with the pay, $13 is not bad plus its work at home. I get PTO, 401K, and benefits. My coworkers are pretty cool and friends with many of them.

Management is absolutely the worst I have ever seen. My managers have been completely useless when it comes to fixing issues with work. They dont care, but they make you feel like they do and then nothing ever gets fixed. In fact they just mass emailed everyone saying they have 6 days to increase stats or you are fired.

I just dont know what to do at this point. I'm 23 and about to get married next year. I have to do better.

Please, I cant afford to lose this job but I need to make some type of improvement.
