Applying for a civil service position (public sector) and apparently, I got through the first round of screening. The email they sent me telling me that I may take the test was without salutations, correspondent's name, and was written in all capital letters. It just gave instructions on other materials that will need to be provided at some point. The whole email just feels very impersonal and if I were to write a thank you note, I'm not sure who to address it to or what to say. Appreciate the advice.
