So I've been at my current job for over 5 years now. It's a combination of administrative work and sales in a medical office. I graduated with my bachelors in Technology Management in April 2018. I didn't start looking for jobs right away as I wanted to enjoy summer, plus had some vacation time planned out. I've now been looking the last 2 months and I'm having the hardest time finding a job that could be the "next step" - to learn some new skills, grow, etc. I'm finding that the jobs in new fields that offer more growth of course require experience I don't have (need experience to get experience) or offer significantly lower pay that I cannot afford to take.
For those that have moved on from a job in the administrative or sales field where do you go? I'd personally like to get away from customer service/sales altogether but I'm aware that can take time and advancement.
