And it was extra annoying because we’ve had it scheduled for over a week. I live in another city and had already gotten the day off of work and my travel plans sorted.
No reason was stated - just that they wanted to phone interview me first before moving forward. Could this be because they have already extended an offer to someone else and wanted to buy more time? To clarify, I had not had a phone screening at all yet, they went straight to in-person. It is a start up company so I am wondering if they are just disorganized.
Has anyone else had this happen before?
