Psychology grad entry level work? Kid on the way.

So what's a good option for a psychology grad (no graduate school-money is not there yet)?

I worked as a manager at Burger King and in culinary school through my life/teaching ESL abroad and cannot even manage to get a supervisor (not even an assistant manager) position. I am not someone who freezes up in interviews.

I believe I interview well and am extroverted. I'm aware I must be doing something wrong but I can't believe it's this hard to find any type of position. It appears I either:

1)suck at interviewing and just don't really notice 2)overqualified for positions (I'm leaning more towards this-given the jobs I'm applying for) 3)I don't know

Anyone know of a good starting job that pays at least a wage I can live off of? Again, I don't want to work in the former experience I have listed... and I have a Psych degree I would like an entry level job in.

Are companies open to relocation or does everyone prefer the local candidate? (Prob a dumb question but thought I would ask just in case some companies are open for relocation) Sorry for all the questions guys. Any advice would be appreciated as I have a kid on the way and I'm in panic mode. We just found out so we've got a bit of time under our belts.
