I’m an 18 year old dude in the uk and I’m currently looking for work in the customer service industry, so I can save up and support myself ready for moving away to uni later in the year, and I need some help.
I’ve had a total of seven years customer service experience over paid and volunteer jobs, and I’ve gone through 2 careers and guidance advisors at college to bump up and get my CV and cover letter up to scratch, however when I apply for jobs, I’m not getting anything back, not even a rejection letter. And while I know that it’s common not to get anything, I used to get interviews for work all the time when I was younger (I wasn’t accepted mostly because I was under 18), and now that I have full experience in literally everything to do with customer service experience, I’m not getting a single thing back? I’m a college student but only for 2 days a week as well.
I’m on indeed, LinkedIn, Retail choice, Facebook groups for job seekers in my area, and I’ve just set up a meeting at the job centre in a few days, and yet I can’t get anything! Any help is appreciated, I’m looking for work in cafes, shops, supermarkets, resteraunts, bars, cinemas, etc just anything in customer service!
