So my younger sister took 3 years off due to mental illness related issues and I’m worried about how to help her get a job now that she’s ready to go back.
She graduated with a bachelors in neuroscience but after graduation, didn’t do any research/work. She took two semesters of post bacc coursework in biology. She now wants to get a job and it seems that her only option is working as a research assistant but she’s not getting many interviews because of the gap in her resume.
Is the only solution going back to school to get a masters? Can she do anything in particular to get more interviews?
