Just had an interview for a corporate position as I'm going to be graduating university in April. This was the first firm that actually invited me for an interview after numerous rejections so I was really nervous but excited! Interview went really well and my interviewer admitted I was a strong candidate.
However I made a few little errors out of nervousness, for example, I left my interviewer's business card and my water bottle on the table after the interview ende, and I also mispronounced her name when saying goodbye. Were these mistakes likely to affect their decision? I hope it didn't come off as disrespectful, I was just nervous.
Also, my interviewer said I need to finish school before I can be considered for the position, so should I connect her and the other recruiter for the company and ask about a job once I've graduated? Any advice on how to word that without sounding too much like a beggar?
Thanks for any opinions/advice
