Hiring manager reached out to request a time to schedule a phone screening but by the time I responded (the next day), she said she had filled up all of her interview time slots. What's the polite way of pushing back a little and asking to try to squeeze me in somewhere?
This is incredibly frustrating as I've been trying to get an interview with this company for months now. Its a fantastic company in a great location. I believe I'm a great fit for this position that finally opened up too.
It was probably less than 16 hours between when she emailed to set up a phone interview and when I responded to her email but she had apparently filled up the remaining slots in that time.
How can I politely ask her about ways to potentially squeeze in a 30 minute phone screening?
