Got invited for a final interview onsite for a position on the East Coast. Was informed only 50% of my flight cost would be reimbursed. Worth the risk?
Hello, I have been invited for a final interview onsite for a position on the East Coast. However, I live in the mountain west so flights there are pretty expensive especially with less than 2 weeks notice. I was informed only 50% of my flight cost would be reimbursed. There is no mention of food and lodging reimbursement. I have not been made an offer. Is it worth the risk to make such an expensive trip on my own dime? Are there other questions I should be asking them? Otherwise the job and location seem like a good fit. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
