I’m a final year student majoring in maths and minor in accounting in the UK. Like many other graduates here, I’m struggling to make the cut.
In terms of how far I go in the recruitment process, 90% of the time I pass online tests and get invited to video/telephone interviews and then from there is a 10% chance to get into an assessment centre.
I have another telephone and video interview for two companies in a few days, and I really want to give it my best shot. I’ve researched projects they’ve done, did a lot of background reading into the companies, and kept up with the industry.
Does anyone have any advice for these telephone interviews? I feel like no matter how hard I try I end up in the never ending loop of rejection and I really want to start my career after I graduate.
