It's a long story with why I had to leave but to summarize, the work environment was getting extremely toxic and hostile. Walked out of my job this past Friday from how bad it was getting.
Anyways, I have been applying relentlessly over the weekend for anything and everything. Retail, fast food, grocery, you name it. I need a job ASAP to pay bills and food. I do have quite a bit in savings if I need to pull from it, but I really don't want to resort to that if it can be helped. As for my background, I have a Master of Science in Biology, and roughly 6 years working as a supervisor. I live in the Dallas area and it is extremely difficult finding anything in my field. Right now I'm just needing something to pay bills, but ultimately I need something that I can comfortably live off of. The problem is that I've been applying for jobs for a while and haven't been getting any call backs for things that I feel that I'm qualified for. If any of you can help me out with advise or leads I would really appreciate it. I can even send over my resume (privately) for you guys to look at. Also note that I tailor my resume to every job that I apply to, that way for some of the lower jobs I do not look overqualified. Thank you all in advance!
