About to finish PhD, not sure what I can qualify for.

Hi all,

I'm almost finished with my PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences and I'm projected to defend next May/June. I've started searching for jobs in the biotech/pharma industry and I have a couple ideas of positions I'd like to start looking into more. Some jobs I've seen require a PhD and 0-2, or 2-3 years of experience and sometimes more.

I have 5 years of full-time experience with my bachelors degree before going back to school for my PhD. Can I leverage this experience to open myself up to the PhD + x years of experience positions or should I stick to the very entry level positions?
