My responsibilities are that of an office assistant, but my job title is very specific and makes it sound like I only do one specific thing at my job. I'm applying to administrative positions and have been using my "real" title and haven't had any bites. Would it be okay to just list my title as "office assistant"? It should be obvious from the bullet points I have describing my responsibilities but you never know.
