So, I'm going to be entering the job market within the next month, how much can I expect to make in my first month?

I live in Arizona and the minimum wage here is $10.50/hr and I will be working at McDonald's most likely since it is extremely close to where I live. [part-time]

As far as I know you get payed overtime if you work more than 40 hours a week, but the amount of hours a day doesn't matter as long as it doesn't go over 12 hrs. I might be wrong on that one though.

I've never had a job before, so I'm wondering if when I start working will they give me a full 40 hours a week or can they just not give me any hours?

Also if you guys can drop me any tips about a first job that would be much appreciated.
