Potential new job wants me to start ASAP, but I’m currently employed

Hoping to get some advice as to how others would handle this situation. I’ve been at my current job for about 45 jobs and I do enjoy the company and work environment, but it doesn’t relate to what I want to do in the future. I’m currently interviewing for an entry level position in my desire field, but they want me to start right away if I’m offered the position. I can appreciate they want someone to start right away, but I’d really like to not burn a bridge, even if this company isn’t my ideal field. Also, I had to miss some work today for the interview and they want me to come back tomorrow for a second interview. This is exciting, but it will also make me look really unreliable to my current employer. If I’m ultimately not offered the position, I’ll potentially be stuck with that reputation. Another thing is that I wanted to do some background research on the company, but I can’t find any websites for their other locations. The interview seemed legit, but he mentioned they have operations in other cities across the US and I’m a little put off that I can’t find them. A Glassdoor search also provides very little information. I definitely need to get my foot in the door somewhere, and I’m ok taking a lot bit of a risk, but I just don’t know if this adding up to be too much. Any advice is appreciated!
