Advice wanted for a newly promoted assistant director!

I will be working for a long/short term rehabilitation nursing home at the end of the month.

I worked for 7 years in the dietary department of a neighboring long/short term rehabilitation nursing home as Dietary aide/Chef.

I am 24 years old.

I have an associates degree in business administration.

My official title is Assistant Director of Food Services.

My team will consist of 15 Dietary Aides and 4 Chefs.

I’d like to know what are some important things that I should know that some people may take for granted knowing about. Any advice/ tips/ tricks are welcome! Feel free to share your own experiences!
