Just like the title says, my coworker is about 40 and I’m 24, we started out as friends and have worked together for over 3 years. She used to not be this way, but when our other coworker quit she took over the duties of the morning shift which is our main shift for paper work and sorting things out and making phone calls, I work overnight and mostly just run the end of day stuff. She morphed into a cruel and vindictive belittling monster. Due to this, when she pulls into the parking lot, I quickly gather my stuff and leave because I refuse to be alone with her and I absolutely do not communicate with her but this seems to egg her on even more to target me for everything. I have brought this to the attention of my bosses and they just brush it off and ask her to stop. Which she doesn’t.... I feel like I can’t make one mistake without her jumping down my throat, she isn’t my boss or even my manager she’s just my coworker but she feels super entitled. She says things like ‘don’t do stupid things and I won’t have to say anything about it’ in the end of work day email updates we send. I’m not sure what to do other than quit.
