Recently, my higher ups decided to help me with the understaffing in my section by hiring new employees. My section isnt particularly difficult to work in, its more about finding someone with the right availibilty and temperament for the job.
Though I oversee the section, I am only middle management right now, and am working very hard to bridge the gap to upper management. Past this, my last coworker had to be let go because they simply did not have the right availibilty or temperament to work in the section. Would asking to be part of the interviewer team to my higher ups help these issues?
To add to this, I have never conducted an interview before, is there any tips I could have to be competent about this?
