Got fired from my job. Submitted a ton of applications to multiple places using websites such as Indeed and SnagaJob and have received a job offer via text from what seems like a legitimate company but it just seems fishy.

I had gotten fired from my Kitchen Manager role at Chick-fil-A of 3 years for missing a shift due to my medical condition. Since then, I've applied to a plethora of places, although I received multiple text messages (3) from this company OptiRTC inc claiming that they saw my resume on Indeed and forwarded it to their head department and they stated in the same text that the starting pay is $29.75.

"Hello xxxxx xxxx

I'm xxx xxx from OptiRTC. Your resume has been reviewed on indeed and posted to our head department for review and we think you will be a good fit for the position applied for. The pay rate is $29.75 hourly. Please reply if interested."

My question is, how is this a scam? I've looked up the company but I just can't find anything suspicious other than the fact I don't recall applying to any such company..
